Founder Of Maholo

Having spent my growing up years in the gentle breeze and feeling the flavors of Nga Son, Thanh Hoa, I have nurtured in my heart a strong love for sedge fibers and the art of sedge weaving. Her warm homeland inspired her, turning rough sedge fibers into delicate, fresh works.

With the desire to bring the beauty and spirit of my homeland to the world, I decided to embark on a creative journey and founded the Maholo brand. Maholo is not just a brand, but a story about love and passion for traditional craftsmanship.

Wishing you always be passionate and enthusiastic in all your projects, so that Maholo will grow stronger and stronger. 🙂

Nga Son sedge weaving village

Nga Son, a beautiful district in Thanh Hoa, is famous for its village specializing in bamboo and rattan weaving. Every morning, as the sunlight gently penetrates through the lush coconut trees, the village comes alive with the rhythmic sounds of bamboo sticks, the gentle hum of skilled artisans at work. Families here diligently engage in the craft, from selecting raw materials to the intricate weaving process, crafting exquisite bamboo and rattan products.

The bamboo and rattan weaving village in Nga Son is not merely a place of production but also a symbol of perseverance, passion, and the community’s dedication. Each piece crafted is not just an ordinary item but a work of art, embodying the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Vietnam.
